buzzing ceramic cooktop??? We have a ceramic cooktop in our new house and when I turn the elements on it makes a buzzing/humming noise.
Is this normal? |

Re: buzzing ceramic cooktop??? your pans must be magnetic, must have flat bottoms and should be heavy. If the pans aren't heavy and level enough, you'll hear buzzing / ticking noises. The noise level and quality varies depending on multiple factors. I have tinnitus and it really irritates my ears.
