With times about to get tougher, has anyone else postulated the idea of having their own garden this growing season?

You look at the price of veges in the supermarket and think "Damn they are expensive!!".
Sure they are convenient, but you pay for that convenience and that is what supermarkets love.

I dug over and weeded my vege garden the other day, it's too early to be planting just yet.
Dug in some manure (good lord), should be a good growing season once the frosts go away.

Anyone else got the room for a vege garden, and what are you planting?
